A collaborative art print project featuring playable and upcoming characters from Genshin Impact.
ABOUT
⁑What is "Kamera Kollection"?
Kamera Kollection is a Genshin Impact inspired for profit collaborative art project. The goal is to produce individual photo style art prints of every playable character in the game at the time of artist applications. It is not, by definition, a "zine", but feel free to think of it as one except the final product is not a book.
⁑What exactly will be featured in this project?
The plan is for every playable character and possibly upcoming characters to feature in an art print that replicates a photo being taken in game. Multiple characters may be included in a "photo", but the assigned character must be the only main feature.
If certain characters are not chosen by the final contributors, then they may not appear in the project.
If sales allow, we hope to include individual signatures of the featured character foil-printed on each "photo"!
Merchandise is planned, but not definitive yet. Current plans include a polaroid charm, stickers, a sticker sheet, and an extra surprise!
⁑Who will be able to take part in the project?
At this time, we are looking for an artist for each included character. Depending on the game's release schedule, we are expecting around 35 "photo" artists and 2 or 3 merch artists. Final numbers will be decided at the time of applications when we know the exact number of playable characters and upcoming characters to include.
⁑Will you be including writers?
At this time, no, we will not be including writers as this project is focusing on art prints with a small amount of merch. If we discover a place for written content in the project, we will amend and announce as needed.
⁑How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will receive a free copy of the print set at minimum. If proceeds allow, everyone can pick and choose from the full bundle at no extra cost. Shipping will be covered as well. All remaining profits will be split evenly among contributors and mods.
⁑What will happen with my art?
Aside from being used in this project, all rights remain with the artists and can be used as they wish after the project has concluded. During the project, however, we ask that all art involved with the project is not shared without permission.
⁑Where will you be shipping from?
Tea, who will be handling shipping, is based in the USA.

APPS GUIDE
⁑What do I need when applying?
Please provide a portfolio of at least 3 completed works. Since this project is aiming to replicate in-game photos, please include pieces that showcase an ability to draw backgrounds be it landscapes, buildings, and/or inside rooms and the like. We would prefer for portfolios to include the character(s) one is applying to draw, but it is not required.
For merch artists, please include works that represent best how you would design merchandise for this project based on the options you choose during the application process.
⁑Will you accept traditional art?
Yes! As long as you can scan and provide your art at 300dpi resolution and in good visual quality, feel free to apply.
⁑What's the difference between print and merch artists?
Print artists will be in charge of a single "photo" (print) in the project focusing on their assigned character plus a character unique signature. Merch artists will be assigned two or three merchandise items to design. Merch artists will be required to produce at least two items for the project. All artists will be able to choose their desired compensation.
⁑What will you be judging?
Print artist apps will be judged based on three main components: anatomy, composition, and coherency. Anatomy will not be strictly by the book, but also how fluid and believable one's characters are. Composition will include backgrounds, colours, and spacing in the art. Coherency will be how well we judge everything to fit together as a piece and whether an artist's style will work together with the project as a whole.
Merch artist apps will be judged similarly, but with the frame of reference of how well their art would work in their desired merchandise positions.
⁑Do you have an age restriction for this project?
As this is a fully SFW project, we do not have an age minimum requirement. That said, this is a for profit venture and if a minor wishes to join, we strongly advise for them to have parental permission as we will require a shipping address and/or paypal for compensation (if compensation is chosen). We will not be vetting minors vs adults and will trust our applicants to approach their online activities with integrity.
⁑What sort of content is acceptable for apps?
We would prefer portfolios remain SFW as that is the type of content of the project itself. Please refrain from including anything typically extreme (i.e. gore, fetishes, etc.). Ship art is allowed, but nothing in the project itself will involve romantic relationships so be sure to show off that you can highlight a single featured character!
⁑What about "problematic" content and creators?
We will not be vetting creators for fandom preferences. We simply would not have the time and resources to scour each and every applicant for something we disagree with. We will only reject applicants for non artistic reasons if it is a serious issue like harassment, endangering of real people, minors invading adult spaces, etc. as we become aware.
